About The Staff
Doctors
Dr. Mark Lawrence is the owner of the practice. Dr. Mark received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from LSU in 1993, and he opened Woodsprings Animal Clinic with the help of his wife Regina in 1997. Dr. Lawrence enjoys spending time with his family, hunting and fishing. They have 3 dogs and one cat.

WAC Staff
Mika is our head tech, she has been with the practice since 2018. She is pursuing her Bachelors degree in Animal Science with the intent to apply to veterinary school. She has three dogs and a cat, enjoys playing video games, and is an avid Harry Potter fan.
Landon is one of our assistants, he has been with the practice since 2019. He has one dog and one cat. He enjoys video games, is an avid Star Wars fan and is an excellent cook.
Kasey joined the clinic in 2023, and is one of our assistants.
Alicia joined our team in 2023 and is one of our assistants.
Keisha is our lead receptionist/practice manager. She has been with the practice since 2015, and holds Bachelor's degrees in both Animal Science and Nursing. She has six cats and a multitude of tropical fish. She enjoys spending time with her son and family, riding scooters, road trips, and knitting.
Jackie is a member of our reception team, she has been with the practice since 2011 and is a Registered Medical Assistant. She enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren and going to the beach. Jackie has two dogs and two cats.
Shyann is one of our assistants, and joined our team in 2022. She has 3 cats and 1 dog, and plans to further her education by attending Veterinary Technician school next year. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, baking and cooking, and reading.
Chloe is a member of our reception team, she has been with the practice since 2020. She is a certified Cosmetologist and has three dogs. She enjoys any outdoor activity and playing with her dogs. She also has a new baby at home!
Caroline is a member of our reception team, and joined the practice in 2021. She has 2 dogs, Dax and Charlie and loves spending time with them. She also loves traveling with her twin sister Virginia (they plan to backpack through Europe one day), and she is also currently in school pursuing a degree as an Occupational Therapist.
Julian is one of our receptionists and joined the practice in 2023. She enjoys going to concerts and festivals.
Permanent Residents
Our clinic has two resident cats whose pictures you see on this website: Lilly & Kitten.
Of course our main man Caribbean is pictured on our Welcome page, always in our hearts; we miss you big man!
